TYPE 1 STANLEY No. 47 DADO PLANE with 5 IRONS – c. From my collection the finest Stanley No. 47 I have owned. Has 98% Japanning intact with normal wear on the fence handle. Comes with 5 original irons in a user made exact replica box. All irons are nicely honed. Rosewood knob and tote are in excellent condition with zero damage or repairs. 47 tote did not have Traut’s patent stamp. No rust or pitting on this plane which has been washed and wiped with Camillia Oil since I bought it to prevent rusting. A beautiful example of the Stanley No. 47 Dado Plane for your collection..
