Nice set of 20 irons blades cutters for Stanley 45 wood plane with boxes

One set of 22 cutters for a Stanley 45 wood plane as pictured. Also included are the 2 cutter boxes and the 2 lids, although they have some condition issues. The boxes are not numbered. Each is about 6-9/16″ by 4-1/2″ including the lids. These would date to 1915 to 1921 only per Dave Heckel’s excellent book The Stanley Forty-Five Combination Plane. One of the cutter boxes has pictured 7 beading cutters, 1 match cutter, and 1 sash cutter. All of those cutters are included. The depth stops are included on the match and sash cutters. The other cutter box has pictured 10 dado or plow cutters and the filletster. This set predates the #18-1/2 cutter which is not included. None of the cutters are numbered. Condition of the cutters is very good to excellent, mostly bright and shiny with just a hint of patina (color) or dirt here or there. Many have had a bit of flattening from a prior owner. Both cutter boxes are in fair to good condition, both. Dirty but with the majority of the labels intact. These don’t have any provision for attaching the lids to the rest of the boxes. The winner gets all 20 cutters and both boxes and lids! I sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography!
