Set of 49 irons blades cutters for Stanley 55 wood plane with boxes

Also included are the 4 cutter boxes and 4 lids, and the lids have the metal clips on both ends. Earlier 55 planes came with 52 cutters, and later 55 planes came with 55 cutters, with 4 added and 1 deleted to get to 55. This is an earlier set, but I’m missing three cutters — the filletster, the slitter, and the number 64. The #29 beading cutter was deleted when Stanley went from 52 to 55, and it is included with this set. They are photographed in box order (Cutter Box 1, Cutter Box 2, etc) in the pictures of the cutters. Most of these came to me as a set, generally in very good condition, but I added some cutters to fill it out, and some of the added cutters are not in the same condition. All of the cutters, except for the dado or plow cutters, have the Stanley number on them. Condition of the cutters is mostly very good, and many are bright and shiny as can be seen. Some have some patina (color) but only three — #55, #95, and #113 — have some pitting with the most pitting on the #55. The sash cutter has its depth stop, while the match cutter does not. Condition of the boxes is fair to good. They are all original Stanley boxes and lids, not reproductions, but the lids haven’t faded exactly the same as the boxes. So the lids may not be original to these particular boxes. The box labels are mostly intact, with some fading on the upper part of the labels on boxes 1 and 3, and more general fading on the labels on boxes 2 and 4. Some of the end clips are rusty, and some of the boxes especially box 1 have some nail holes on the ends. The winner gets all 49 cutters and all 4 boxes and lids! I sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography! The queue is overflowing with tools right now, as they seem to be finding me faster than I can list them.
