This is a really rare 3 piece set that’s complete. This makes a single rose leaf. First, there is the cutter. It’s 4 3/4 inches long and the cutter head is about 1 1/4 inches across and 2 3/4 inches long. Still sharp and ready to use. The cutter is made of iron. There is also a 2 part leaf mold complete with top and bottom. The bottom part is made of iron and is 7 1/2 inches long including the wood handle. The top is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches across and 3/4 inch deep of solid brass. When the top veiner and bottom are put together it’s 1 1/2 inches thick. This makes a leaf with 3 distinct tips. This is quite usable and you could actually cut and form a leaf today exactly how it was done years ago. Wonderful also just for display. Has a great patina. If you wanted you could polish the brass to its original color and clean up the iron bottom. The 2 pieces together weigh just about 2 pounds so this is a substantial and serious tool.
