Comes complete with long and short pairs of rails. Comes with a full set of 8 imperial size blades, all new replacement blades properly hardened and tempered then hollow ground and honed both sides. The 8 sizes are 1/8 “, 3/16 “, 1/4 “, 5/16 “, 3/8 “, 7/16 “, 1/2. A common fault with this plane is that the plated cast iron bodies and steel rails go rusty easily. This fault has been rectified by stripping and replating the rusted bodies and rails for another lifetime of use. Blades and short bars are supplied in a plastic storage box. Comes with a copy of an original box label. Condition is far better than the best of the rest, all working well. Imperial size blades all re-manufactured in High Speed Steel. Sizes are 1/8 ” – 9/16 “. HSS is this is the modern tool steel for cutting tools, used for drills etc. Still easy to sharpen in the normal way. All blades are properly hollow ground and honed both sides.
