Very nice Record plane & cutters as seen. Quality used item with a few marks here and there check out the photos for sizes and condition. Items listed as used will have various usage marks and wear in accordance with age and being second hand we take pics as large as possible so you can see the condition for yourself all items are in a usable condition capable for the use intended for them unless stated otherwise, if you’re not sure ask we are always happy to help. Used plane so dings, dents, and scratches. Owner’s marks all over, counted 7. If you need more or better pictures go ahead and ask, I will do my best to provide them.

Record 044 plough / rebate plane, full set of 8 new cutters, fully restored. This is the classic Record 044 plough plane, made between 1934 and 1970, all examples are 50 + years old. Comes complete with long and short pairs of rails. Comes with a full set of 8 imperial size blades, all new replacement blades properly hardened and tempered then hollow ground and honed both sides. The 8 sizes are 1/8 “, 3/16 “, 1/4 “, 5/16 “, 3/8 “, 7/16 “, 1/2. A common fault with this plane is that the plated cast iron bodies and steel rails go rusty easily. This fault has been rectified by stripping and replating the rusted bodies and rails for another lifetime of use. Blades and short bars are supplied in a plastic storage box. Comes with a copy of an original box label. Condition is far better than the best of the rest, all working well.
