Comes complete with long and short pairs of rails. Comes with a full set of 8 imperial size blades, all new replacement blades properly hardened and tempered then hollow ground and honed both sides. The 8 sizes are 1/8 “, 3/16 “, 1/4 “, 5/16 “, 3/8 “, 7/16 “, 1/2. A common fault with this plane is that the plated cast iron bodies and steel rails go rusty easily. This fault has been rectified by stripping and replating the rusted bodies and rails for another lifetime of use. Blades and short bars are supplied in a plastic storage box. Comes with a copy of an original box label. Condition is far better than the best of the rest, all working well. Classic Record 044 plough plane, complete with long and short pairs of rails. Comes with a full set of 8 imperial size blades all new and unused, properly hardened and tempered. All blades are properly hollow ground and honed both sides. Sizes are 1/8 ” – 9/16 “, ready for use. Blades are in an airtight plastic tube with silica gel to deter rust. Condition is far better than the norm, all working well. All are stripped, cleaned and examined for cracks, damage etc and carefully reassembled.
