Record 050 combination plough / beading plane, full set of 17 cutters, no box. This Record No 050 plough / beading plane is complete and in excellent used re-plated condition. This is the later version with unthreaded rails, long and short pairs. Includes a full set of 17 cutters, 9 plough , 1 tonguing cutter and 7 beading cutters. All the cutters are clean and freshly honed, some rust spots, not near the cutting edges. Both nickers are present and in good condition. The most important loose piece is the odd shaped part which is used instead of the inner skate to clamp the two narrowest cutters, frequently missing. Also both depth stops, the short normal one and the longer one for the beading cutters. This set does not include the shavings diverter, not really relevant nowadays with the advent of factory T& G boarding. Comes with a photocopy manual plus copies of the original box labels. All are stripped, cleaned and examined for cracks, damage etc and carefully reassembled. Missing parts often need to be remanufactured in order to sell only complete usable planes.
