And a 3/4 fluting cutter, which would be the equivalent of the Stanley #38 cutter. Overall lengths are between 3-3/8″ and 3-9/16″ for each cutter. The 1/4″, 1/2″, and 3/4 cutters are. Marked “RECORD MADE IN ENGLAND”. The 3/16″ cutter is marked “RECORD with not much more room for anything else. The 3/8″ cutter is marked “RECORD 3/8 (9.5MM)”, and the 5/8″ cutter is marked RECORD 5/8 15.9. These will function properly on Stanley 45 and 55 wood planes. Condition of all six is very good, fairly bright and shiny, with a variety of fine or small scratches. They appear to have been resharpened, and the 5/8 will need a little smoothing out of the rounded surface. The back sides have had some slight flattening, and several have a couple of tiny spots of rust or patina (color), most notably the 1/4 cutter. The 5/8 has the odd angle at the upper end. Some of the edges show the original casting. I sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography! The queue is overflowing with tools right now, as they seem to be finding me faster than I can list them. So please keep watching my postings as I have LOTS more to list! Searching my listings: I have lots to see! That will lead you to my extensive system of categories. You might ask: How can I know when you start new listings? Descriptions, and auctions with pictures only of the left side because the right side was trashed. I come from the handshake school of doing business, and hopefully you are like me and understand what that means. What goes around, comes around. However, that doesn’t mean that I won’t make an occasional mistake. Please don’t ask, the answer is no. I package well, and have a great track record. I use the US Post Office for everything. Every year the US Postal Service raises rates in mid to late January, and this year is no exception. So I wont do that for you, or to you. PACKAGING: Please check my feedback — I package well. I hope someday I will meet some of you as we trudge the happy road of tool collecting!
