This is beautiful just as something to set around even if you never intend to use it. It has a gorgeous patina. Imagine all the leaves that were actually made with this. This is a really rare 3 piece set that’s complete. First, there is the cutter. It’s 5 1/4 inches long and the cutter head is about 1 1/2 inches across and 2 1/2 inches long. Still sharp and ready to use. The cutter is made of iron. There is also a 2 part leaf mold complete with top and bottom. The bottom part is made of iron and is 8 1/2 inches long including the wood handle. The top is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches across and 1 inch deep of solid brass. When the top veiner and bottom are put together it’s 2 inches thick. This makes a leaf with 3 distinct tips and also serrated edges.
