These Micro tools are the newest addition to the ever growing Easy Wood Tools line of carbide insert lathe tools. These Micro Tools afford the ultimate in control and flexibility when executing fine detail work. These tools are prefect for roughing and finishing smaller projects, such as pens, ornaments, small goblets, small bowls and intricate finials or when working on smaller lathes. Tools are available individually or as a 3 piece set. Tools available are the Micro Rougher, Micro Finisher and Micro Detailer. Designed to be kept flat on the tool rest, level to the floor and pushed straight into your work, these tools can effortlessly hog away massive amounts of wood or create fine details. No intimidating cutting angles to learn and remember-cuts left, right and straight in without changing approach angle. This simple approach to turning allows you to learn and master woodturning in no time. All tools accept proprietary Easy Wood Tools replaceable. These carbide cutters have multiple sharp sides and are easily rotated to expose new sharp edges. You will never need to stop turning and sharpen again! Cutters are specially designed with the optimal grind, geometry and grade of carbide to excel at woodturning. This combination set includes the Micro Rougher (12006), Finisher (12011) & Detailer (12007). All three items have 6 easy to hold Maple handles. The tool bars are 5/16″ square and 3-1/4″ to 3-3/4 long. Overall lengths range from 9-1/4″ to 9-3/4″. Toolbars are precision CNC machined from stainless steel. Rougher cutters (Ci6-SQ and Ci6-R1) are. Finisher cutter (Ci5) is 0.350 in diameter. Detailer cutter (Ci7) is 1-1/2″ long by 0.350″ wide. Tips come to a super sharp point. All tools have installed cutters. 3 piece set comes with an additional Ci6-R1 cutter (3/8″ square with 1″ radius). Comes in hinged, padded carrying case. 100% made in the USA!
