Record 050 combination plough / beading plane with extended set of 19 cutters. This Record No 050 plough / beading plane in excellent used, re-plated condition. Includes an extended set of 19 cutters, 9 plough, 7 beading cutters. Normal sets only have a 1/4 ” tongue cutter, this set has the optional 3/16 ” and 1/8 cutters. All the cutters are clean and freshly honed, in a good storage box. Both nickers are present and in good condition so cutting grooves across the grain is not a problem. The most important loose piece is the odd shaped part which is used instead of the inner skate to clamp the two narrowest cutters, frequently missing. Also comes with both depth stops, the short normal one and the longer one for the beading cutters. This set comes with a photocopy box label. All are stripped, cleaned and examined for cracks, damage etc and carefully reassembled. Missing parts often need to be remanufactured in order to sell only complete usable planes.
