A complete 20-piece series of vintage hollow mills (Fraises pour décolleter) for watchmaking and precision restoration. This set matches the No. 47 series found in the original Lorch Schmidt catalogs. The Complete Series (20 Pieces). Full Sequential Run: Includes sizes 3 through 22. A complete, matching series like this is extremely difficult to find. Shank Measurement: Verified at 4.50mm with digital calipers (as shown in photos). These are designed to be held in a 4.5mm collet on a Lorch 10mm LLRGN or similar high-precision lathe. Application: Specifically designed for precision turning of watch pivots, shaping screw heads, and finishing small cylindrical components. Sharp Cutting Faces: All tools have clean, sharp edges with the hollow-ground geometry intact. Excellent Preservation: The tools show light, honest age but no damage or “crashes” to the delicate cutting teeth. The numbering remains crisp and legible.
